Customer information

Website terms

These terms explain direct website orders, linked Etsy listings, and devotional or educational content.

The seller

Second Life Icons is an independently owned online shop based in Staunton, Virginia, United States. The shop prepares Orthodox devotional goods for individual customers, families, parishes, and bookstores. It is not a church jurisdiction, monastery, or official representative of the Orthodox Church. Customer service is available at joe@secondlifeicons.com and through the contact page.

Website information

Second Life Icons aims to keep product descriptions, prices, availability, and educational information accurate. Direct website prices are in U.S. dollars. The final Stripe checkout screen displays the products, discounts, shipping, applicable tax, and complete total for approval before payment. For a purchase made on Etsy, the Etsy listing, price, and checkout terms apply to that separate Etsy order.

Orders and payment

Direct website payments are processed by Stripe, which provides the secure payment, receipt, and invoice record. Second Life Icons receives the order and shipping information needed to prepare the purchase but does not receive the customer’s full card number. Etsy continues to process purchases made through Etsy.

Availability and order acceptance

“In stock” means Second Life Icons is currently accepting orders for that item. Products are prepared or hand-finished in small batches. If an unexpected inventory or production issue prevents fulfillment after payment, the customer will be contacted and offered a reasonable replacement or a full refund to the original payment method.

Shipping and returns

Website shipping charges, delivery estimates, tracking practices, and destination limits are stated in the shipping policy. Eligibility, required steps, return shipping, and refund timing are stated in the return policy. These policies are available before checkout and remain available after purchase.

Devotional and educational content

Products and articles are intended to support prayer, learning, and remembrance. They are not an official catechism, sacramental guidance, pastoral direction, or a substitute for the care of a priest, parish, catechist, or bishop.

Images and written material

Original product photography, layouts, written descriptions, and shop materials may not be copied or commercially reproduced without permission except where a separate source or license is identified.
